Getting the ideas and people and scenery and allllll of that is hard enough, but to me the hardest part is editing and putting it all together. Since I'm absolutely awful at all of this editing and the input of sound effects and everything, I really had to research how to do all of the editing and all of that for iMovie, because I think that's what we are going to use.
All I have been doing in order to try to maximize my editing knowledge, I have watched tutorials on a few programs so if none of my other group members really know what they are doing in that area, at least I will!!!
Here are a few of the tools/videos I used to help

Hey Dylan!
ReplyDeletePretty great blog so far. I love some of the humor that you are providing throughout your posts as I read. I'm always in the mood for a good chuckle. Anyway, overall it seems like you and your group are making some great progress. I have also heard many stories about the jail you filmed at and I feel it is the perfect place for your story. Speaking of which, I would love to see some of your raw footage in one of your postings! It would really help me understand how you made these shots still look scary and suspenseful in broad daylight. Was your dad with you when you went to film? I hope he was!
If you are looking for some suspenseful music, I know a great website that has royalty free music for any mood or genre you can think of. Here's the link: https://incompetech.com/
I hope the rest of your project runs smoothly and wish you the best of luck in your production endeavors.
